Matthysse vs. Barrios Exhibtion Match at Club Sportivo

By Marcelo González

Tomorrow night at Club Sportivo in Argentina, there will be an evening of boxing with an added twist. The evening will be topped by a three round exhibition featuring the world welterweight interim-champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC), Lucas Matthysse (32-2, 30KOs), and popular former champion Jorge Rodrigo "Hyena" Barrios (50-4-1, 35KOs).

Barrios has been inactive for two years due to legal issues, but he plans to return to the ring on December 21. The evening of boxing is called "Sportivo on Fire" and the reigning WBC Latino featherweight champion Sergio "Maravilla" Estrela will defend his belt on the card.
