MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Mario Arano, manager and Argentine promoter of dangerous junior welterweight banger Lucas Matthysse (35-3, 33KOs), said he was given a return date of September 6th for his fighter.

Recently, Adrien Broner (28-1, 22KOs) also stated, on the social networks, that he plans to return on September 6th.

Arano said he was told that Broner and Matthysse will both fight on the same card, but in separate bouts. He tells BoxingScene "he doesn't want to fight Lucas."

No venue or opponent has been mentioned as of yet for Matthysse, says Arano.

Matthysse was last seen in April, stopped John Molina in the eleventh round of a "Fight of The Year" war from the StubHb Center in Carson, California. There were five knockdowns in the fight, with Matthysse going down twice and Molina hitting the deck three times.
