Undefeated Polish cruiserweight contender Mateusz Masternak (26-0, 20 KOs) is preparing for his third fight under the Sauerland Event banner. Masternak will return on May 19th in Copenhagen, and the name of the opponent will be announced shortly. After signing a contract with Wilfried and Kalle Sauerland, the 25-year-old boxer defeated Michael Simms (22-16-2, 14 KOs) and Felipe Romero (15-5-1, 10 KOs), with both fights ending before the distance (in the 3rd and 10th round).
The main event will feature the light heavyweight debut of Mikkel Kessler (44-2, 33 KOs), who takes on Allan Green (31-3, 21 KOs). Both fighters competed in the Super Six tournament at 168-pounds, and at one point were scheduled to fight each other, but Kessler withdrew from the tournament with an eye injury.
