Mexico's Marvin Quintero (25-4, 21 KOs) will get a second chance to position himself for a title shot when he faces Panamanian Ameth Diaz (31-11, 22 KOs) in a lightweight world title elimination bout lfor a crack at the International Federation Boxing (IBF) champion Miguel Vazquez. Quintero lost a twelve round split decision to Vazquez in an HBO televised bout in October. He gave Vazquez one of his toughest tests in a long time. Diaz is tough veteran who lost a twelve round decision to Vazquez in January.

Miguel Vazquez has already beaten both of these boxers, Marvin Quintero and Ameth Diaz. Why would he want to fight them again?
