| Martirosyan vs Latimore IBF Eliminator in The Works?

By David "Los Gatos" Rosenberg According to multiple sources an IBF junior middleweight eliminator is being discussed that would pit the undefeated Vanes Martirosyan (30-0) against former title challenger Deandre Latimore (22-3). The winner would become the mandatory challenger to champion Cornelius Bundrage who is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Sechew Powell on June 25th. Martirosyan is 2-0 this year with both wins coming by way of knockout. His most recent being a 7th round stoppage of Saul Roman in June. Latimore lost a close split decision when he challenged then IBF junior middleweight champion Cory Spinks in April of 2009. He is currently riding a two fight winning streak.
