Middleweight contender Martin Murray, who plans to move up to the super middleweight division, does not pick either of his countrymen to defeat IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, who may move up to 168-pounds for a major fight.

One possible opponent in discussions right now is former super middleweight champion Carl Froch. The other is James DeGale, who capture the IBF title this past Saturday night with a twelve round unanimous decision victory over Andre Dirrell.

Murray faced Golovkin back in February. The big banger broke Murray down over eleven rounds and handed the British boxer his first stoppage defeat.

"Golovkin could move up to super-middleweight he can't get the fights at middleweight and it will be interesting to see him against bigger men," Murray said to scribe Nick Parkinson.

"With Carl's style of fighting, he goes to war, and so he would be eating a lot of punches against Golovkin so I don't think he would get the better of him. If Carl had a better defense he has the style to do it but I think Carl will retire anyway. James DeGale is tough but he's more of a counter-puncher and I don't think he's got the style to beat Golovkin. To beat someone you need to be a come-forward fighter."
