Juan Manuel Marquez will tangle with Manny Pacquiao for a fourth time to try and settle the score once and for all on December 8th. Their three previous fights while exciting, have been extremely close and produced controversial decisions.

After 36 rounds it’s hard to imagine what these two future hall of fame fighters can provide us that we haven’t seen before but Marquez says there is still one thing we haven’t seen.

"To do something different. What’s left to demonstrate is logically that the judges raise my hand like they should’ve done the last 3 fights. Now I think this fight here is the most interesting one because of the same reason that he knows me and I know him. And the one who does things better and different is the one who will win and I think that’s what the people want: to see a clear winner and who is better” said Marquez.

Another thing we haven’t seen is either fighter stopped or knocked out in their three fights. That would provide the clearest and most resounding outcome that would once and for all settle this famous rivalry.

“I’m going to try [to knock him out]. Pacquiao is very strong and it’s difficult to knock him out but I’ll try. I’m training very hard on my strength and training very hard on my speed. I’ll try and I’ll be looking to knock him out” said Marquez.

Both camps have admitted they will need to do something different in this fight in order to be victorious. Marquez leaves all game planning to his trainer Nacho Beristain and hopes to finally be able to have a legitimate victory over Pacquiao.
