The WBA's 112-pound champion, Mexico's Hernan "Tyson" Marquez and interim-king Juan Carlos Reveco, were ordered to take part in a purse bid, which is going to set a date where the two boxers will unify their titles in a mandatory fight. The purse bid will take place on Friday June 29th at 11:00 am at the offices of the World Boxing Association, located in Marbella, Panama. The purse bid will be led by the executive vice president of the WBA, Gilberto Jesus Mendoza. Marquez has 33 wins, 25 of them by knockout, and two defeats. Reveco has 28 wins, with 1 setback, one draw and 16 knockouts.
