Marquez vs Cuenca Will Head to Mexico City on April 14

By Salvador Rodriguez

The dream of Juan Manuel Marquez (53-6-1, 39 KOs) to fight in Mexico City after nearly 18 years of absence - will now become a reality. The Mexican legend will compete for the interim-junior welterweight title of the World Boxing Organization on the 14th of April at the new Arena in Mexico City. Marquez will face undefeated Argentine Cesar Rene Cuenca (42-0, 1 KO). Juan Manuel already started training last week. The strongest part of his preparation will take place at the Romanza Gym in Mexico City and at the gymnasium of the National Center for Talent Development and High Performance (CNAR).

Not the best fight in the world obviously, but it's a good stay busy fight for the boxing wizard Marquez. Cuenca's record is just like Floyd's anyways, minus like 25 KO's lol.
