Former four division world champion Juan Manuel 'Dinamita' Marquez (55-6-1, 40KOs) views the upcoming fight with Timothy Bradley as the perfect moment to analyze whether or not he should continue in boxing. Bradley (30-0, 12KOs), the WBO welterweight champion and 29-years-old, is undefeated with victories over many top names. Marquez will be 40-years-old very soon. Even a victory with harash struggles will be enough to make Marquez consider retirement. The Mexican veteran plans to go all out to ensure that a fifth title will return to his country.
"It's the right opponent, and personally what motivates me is to win the title. I want to snatch the championship from an undefeated [champion]. He is complicated but I'll try to make it easy. I'm going to leave every last drop of my sweat and blood if I have to, to win this war. It will be a tough fight," said Marquez.
"I know that Bradley is a fighter with speed and then I'll realize how I feel physically to confront someone 10 years younger than me. He a fighter who moves a lot but I will try to secure the win any way possible and then analyze if I'm going to continue or not. In August I'll be 40 years old but I feel great, I feel happy to have these opportunities and I've taken advantage of them in the past eight years of my career. Reaching this age and at the level that I'm at, it makes me very happy."
