| Markussen vs Magee Title Clash is Back on The Table?
|
|
By Per Ake Persson It was rumored for months but never actually on, and then it was officially off - but now there might be some hope for Brian Magee's defense of the WBA interim-super middleweight title against Danish star Rudy Markussen. The date is now February 18 and the site somewhere in Denmark. But while Magee´s manager Pat Magee (no relation) has been advising the Irish press that it´s just about a done deal - Markussen's promoter Kalle Sauerland tells media in Denmark that negotiations were indeed off, but now there is hope for a possible deal. If no deal is reached for a fight against Magee, then Markussen might fight for the WBA I/C title against Venezuelan Gusmyr Perdomo on the same date. Tags: Brian Magee , Rudy Markussen |

Odd.
Danish media reports that negotiations have stopped and that Kalle Sauerland is working on a deal for Markussen to face either Gusmyr Perdomo or an unnamed fighter who's speculated to be Karoly Balszay. |
Makes the Mayweather Pacquiao negotiations seem tame.
Magee is the cash cow, he's more known in Demark than the dane.
He deserves a 99% split and full random testing |
