Polish heavyweight giant Mariusz Wach (27-1, 15 KOs) is hoping to one day land a showdown with former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek (49-2, 29 KOs). Adamek faces undefeated Vyacheslav Glazkov (15-0-1, 11KOs) on November 16th at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, New York. Wach has been inactive since last November's twelve round decision loss to unified heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.

"[Polish network] Polsat wanted it, but Tomasz said no. Adamek does not want to fight me. I wish we could, so it would determine who is the best boxer in the heavyweight division in Poland. For now, he is number one. He was a world champion in two divisions. I put myself in the second position. I'm all in favor for two Polish boxers to fight with each other. It would appear then, who is the best. Therefore, I call on Adamek to fight me," Wach said.
