Polish heavyweight giant Mariusz Wach (29-1, 16KOs) will return to the ring on March 14th in Lubin, Poland. The boxer snapped a two-year layoff last October, when he came back for the first time since the November 2012 decision loss to heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko. Following that loss he tested positive for anabolic steroids and suffered a suspension for several months from the German Boxing Board.
In that return, he won an eight round unanimous decision over Samir Kurtagic. He then came back to the ring in December and stopped Travis Walker in six rounds. Global Boxing, who promotes Wach, plan to keep him very busy in 2015 in order to build his ranking to another world title shot opportunity.
