Mariusz Wach is Open To Facing Tomasz Adamek

Giant-sized Polish heavyweight Mariusz Wach (27-1, 15 KOs) is open to the idea of facing his countryman Tomasz Adamek (47-2, 29KOs). Wach is already looking ahead after suffering a recent decision loss to IBO/WBO/WBA/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko (59-3, 50 KOs). Adamek returns next month in a rematch with Steve Cunningham.

"I treat it as a profession. This is my profession, it's my job. I will cross gloves with Tomasz Adamek - I just need to get ready. There are so many other contenders out there that this encounter is not necessary. But surely a lot of boxing fans would like this fight. I do not mind. If there was such an opportunity, a possibility, I would just get ready. I treat every opponent, such as Tomasz, as the enemy. Before the fight, and after the fight - you know we are friends. But the ring is a sport, it is a battle," Wach said.

Solid fight for Polish fans. Adamek got ktfo by Vitali and Wach just survived Wlad so they can easily sell it. I like Tomasz, but Wach is massive. I could see Wach landing a big one and getting Adamek out…

Szpilka - Adamek would be so much bigger here in Poland. Szpilka is hyped as fvck(imo he`ll get ktfo when he fights someone who can pressure him, and his power punching myth has already been proved wrong in McCline fight)
