Heavyweight contender Mariusz Wach (30-1, 16 KOs) has revealed that he accepted a proposal to fight with Marcin Rekowski (16-1, 13 KOs) as part of the upcoming Polsat Boxing Gala Night, which will take place on September 26 in Lodz.

"I'm already [on board] after discussions with Polsat. We are only waiting for the decision of Marcin," Wach said.

Wach's next fight will take place June 19 in Ostrowiec. His opponent will be Germany's experienced veteran Konstantin Airich (21-10-2, 17 KOs).

Rekowski is best remembered for his two fight series with former heavyweight champion Oliver McCall. First, he knocked out Oliver's son, Elijah McCall, in 2013. That victory set up a grudge match with the father, who an eight round split decision in February 2014. They collided two months later with Rekowski winning a ten round unanimous decision.
