| Mariusz Wach Admits He Lost Interest in Boxing
|
|
By Luke Furman Polish giant Mariusz Wach (27-1, 15KOs) has apparently lost interest in the sport of boxing. Wach has not fought since taking a one-sided beating at the hands of IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko in November. Following the match, Wach tested positive for anabolic steroids. "I must admit that my heart is no longer in boxing. During the last two months, the only fight I watched was with Tomasz Adamek. In addition, I stopped getting interested in the sport. I do have some dark thoughts, but I also have great support from family and friends and my closest friends. I need some time to recover and rebuilding my career will have to come in small steps. I still have some fight left in me," Wach says. Wach said that he plans to have his own investigation regarding the steroids. "The greatest suspicion falls on the coaches, but it's difficult for me to say any more. In this case, I'm planning to do my own private investigation. I had a wide range of people who pretty much helped me in the preparation. What these people did, I am not sure of anything anymore," Wach said. Tags: Mariusz Wach |

Wach is like that huge friendly dumb guy at school who gets persuaded to take up fighting but doesnt really want to, his heart wasnt in it from the beginning, never mind his head.

[QUOTE=The Nephilim]Compared to Marciano's era of bartenders and cabbies fighting for titles, they are for sure even better.
This idea that all of the other HW eras were so great is a load of sh*t. It's typical "the past is always better than the present" faulty thinking that psychology texts... |
