Mariana Juarez Returns on March 2, Then WBC Title

Story and photos by Pepe Rodriguez/WBC

Mariana Juarez is eager to get into action in 2013 after all she lived last year which ended with a victory, but also suffered a defeat against Ava Knight, who won in 10 rounds by unanimous decision.

The past year proved to be a year of great lessons for Mariana Juarez, who after pondering all that happened, she feels full of enthusiasm for the year ahead.

In March, to be precise on day 2, La Barbie will return to action in an elimination bout against a rival to be defined, after that, she will look for the super flyweight WBC title which is currently held by Zulina “La Loba” Muñoz.

Her main goal is to return to the first sites with honors at a weight in which she feels comfortable enough to show her great quality.

Mariana is working to be the same as before, the fighter who always won and always convince the audience: "I'm improving my boxing technique, I want to be the one that attack, which hit and avoided being hit by rivals. Emotionally I feel great, quiet and training very hard, with a lot of discipline”.
