Marcos Maidana Ready For Guerrero, Eyes Malignaggi

While still in Argentina after his TKO victory over rough Jesus Soto Karass, which took place on Sept. 15th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, former world champion Marcos Maidana said he is waiting for his next fight.

“We’re waiting to hear what Golden Boy Promotions has in store for me next. [Golden Boy CEO] Richard [Schaefer] told us that he wants me to face a good name next. I’m ready for any of them,” Maidana said.

“I’m glad that the other day Robert Guerrero finally mentioned my name at last. After we had an already signed to fight last year and he had to pull out at the last minute due to his shoulder injury, I was expecting him to come forward wanting to face me. But he wouldn’t even [involve] me in his plans for some reason. Now he seems to do it so I’m ready for him."

“If not Guerrero I’ll have to wait for a shot at [WBA welterweight champion] Paulie Malignaggi or some of the other good fighters out there. But I definitely want to stay active.”

Maidana would hit Malignaggi so hard his hair would stand on it's own without the need for gel..that's not a fight malignaggi should take..that would easily be the end of the road for him..If Maidana would actually invest in a…
