| Marcos Maidana-Josesito Lopez Close For April 20
|
|
By Ernest Gabion According to various sources it looks like the Riverside Rocky, Josesito Lopez (30-5, 18KOs), will return to action on April 20th against hard hitting Marcos "El Chino" Maidana (33-3, 30KOs). According to these sources while it is not 100% finalized all indications are that the fight is a go from both sides with the venue to be the Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif. Showtime will televise. For Lopez this is a return to the welterweight division where he garnered the name Riverside Rocky by upsetting Victor Ortiz. In his last fight, Lopez made the move to the 154lb division where he was stopped by current WBC title holder Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Maidana returns to U.S. soil after a 3rd round stoppage of Angel Martinez in Argentina, December of 2012. His last US fight was on the undercard of Lopez-Alvarez where he stopped Jesus Soto-Karass in 8 rounds. Tags: Josesito Lopez , Marcos Maidana , Maidana-Lopez , Maidana vs. Lopez |

I got Maidana in this one. Lopez is coming off of getting creamed against Canelo and El Chino has improved nicely with his new trainer. |
Two overrated bums, but Maidana's fight to win since Lopez's style is made for him.
Dude, you shouldn't even be posting here with that dumb comment. |
