Marco Huck Laughs at Alekseev, Offers Him a Sparring Job

By Ruslan Chikov

WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck (34-2-1, 25KOs) was laughing out loud when he witnessed the cruiserweight champion of Europe (EBU), Alexander Alekseev (23-2-1, 20KOs), struggle to twelve round draw with 41-year-old ex-champion Firat Arslan. In past interviews, Alekseev felt he was more than ready to challenge and defeat Huck. He barely got past Arlsan, securing a winning score of 116-113 on one card, but the other two judges saw it 114-114 for the draw.

Huck is not even thinking about a fight with Alekseev, but he still took a moment to offer a verbal slap after Alekseev's performance.

"Hey, Alekseev, if you want - you can work as my sparring partner," Huck announced.
