Marco Huck: I Am Confident That I Can Beat Povetkin

By Ruslan Chikov

WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck (34-1, 25KOs) is very confident that he beat WBA "regular" heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin (23-0, 16KOs). Sauerland Event, who promotes both champions, has interest in staging the fight on February 25th.

The two boxers have sparred in the past, where Huck claims to have been able to handle the much bigger man with no problems.

"I am a true champion, and I've had a lot of fights and a lot of good experience. Povetkin knows me very well. He went through a very unpleasant experience when sparring with me. And I am absolutely confident that I can win this fight," Huck was quoted by Alexander Pavlov.

Huck is out of his dephts. He'll be KO'ed. I cannot understand why he takes this fight. Oh what the hell. He's not that good anyway.

Lol should be a good fight, but Huck talks too much he was KOed by Steve Cunningham and now he thinks he can take a full fledged heavyweights punches without headgear on. If Cunningham can KO him than Povetkin most…
