By Miguel Rivera

Super middleweight contender Marco Antonio "Veneno" Rubio (55-6-1, 48KOs) will return to the ring on December 22nd in Torreon, Mexico against an opponent to be announced. This will be Rubio's fourth fight of the year. He lost a twelve round decision to Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in February, and then came back to easily stop unbeaten Jorge Cota in June and former champion Carlos Baldomir in September.
