Marco Antonio Rubio Will Return on December 22nd

Super middleweight contender Marco Antonio "Veneno" Rubio (55-6-1, 48KOs) will return to the ring on December 22nd in Torreon, Mexico against an opponent to be announced. This will be Rubio's fourth fight of the year. He lost a twelve round decision to Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in February, and then came back to easily stop unbeaten Jorge Cota in June and former champion Carlos Baldomir in September. The fight will be televised on Televisa.

"I still do not know the name my opponent, but I'm preparing with my team and I have no doubt that I'll get the victory," Rubio said.
