Refusing to wait around for a shot at WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., the mandatory challenger Marco Antonio "Veneno" Rubio (51-5-1, 44KOs) will stay busy by returning to action on September 3 in San Luis Potosi, against African boxer Akrong Mohammed (13-3, 10KOs). Mohammed, who fought nearly his entire career in Ghana, won his last three fights by knockout.

On the undercard, Alejandro Barrera will appear in a ten round contes, and Michael Rosales will collide with veteran fighter Julio Cesar "Baby Face" Garcia in a ten round middleweight bout.

Not a very good fight but hopefully the Hypejob Chavez Jr mans up and faces him since he won't even mention Martinez.
