Marco Antonio Rubio Will Battle With Michel Rosales

Two-time middleweight world title challenger Marco Antonio Rubio (55-6-1, 48KOs) will return to the ring on December 22nd at Auditorio Bincentenario in Morelia, Mexico. “El Veneno” will face his countryman Michel Rosales (32-5, 26 KO). The bout is scheduled for 12 rounds with Rubio’s WBF super middleweight belt on the line.

It’s going to be a fourth Rubio’s fight of the year. The Mexican lost a twelve round decision to Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in February, and then came back to stop unbeaten Jorge Cota in June and Carlos Baldomir in September. 29-years old Rosales is coming back to the ring after a 5th round TKO loss to Daniel Sandoval in April.

I've always liked Michel Rosales. Gives an honest effort and can surprise guys if they aren't fully prepared for him. BUT, he has never fought over 154 and spent most of his career at 140 and 147. And now he…
