Manuel Charr-Konstantin Airich Set For December 22

By BoxingBet.pl

Former WBC heavyweight title challenger Manuel Charr (21-1, 11 KOs) will be back in the ring on December 22nd in Cologne, Germany. The 28-year old “Diamond Boy” will face Konstantin “Sandman” Airich (24-8-2, 18 KOs) of Germany. The bout is scheduled for 12 rounds.

Originally the Lebanon-born Charr was interested in facing Cuban veteran Juan Carlos Gomez (51-3, 38 KOs), but eventually the two fighters were unable to reach an agreement due to financial issues.

The fight against Airich will be Charr’s first ring appearance since his loss by a 4th round technical knockout to WBC champion Vitali Klitschko (45-2, 41 KOs) in September.
