Manuel Charr Headlines With Bidenko in Cologne, 3/30

By Per Ake Persson

Diamond Boy Promotion will stage its inaugural show in Cologne on March 30. Headlining is the Diamond Boy himself, unbeaten heavyweight Manuel Charr, who will take on Taras Bidenko with the WBC International Silver title at stake.

It´s a dinner show and Diamond Boy have joined forces with Bemer Group and will also collaborate with E C Box Promotion in Hamburg.

Charr, 20-0, began his career with Sauerland Event and later joined Universum and lately he's fought on the undercard to Felix Sturm´s shows.

Bidenko, 28-4 and world ranked, was last seen on a Universum show in October and was then booked to fight Kubrat Pulev in January but pulled out and was then set to fight on a EC show in Hamburg in February but that fell through as well.

On the undercard heavyweight Christian Hammer is in against Alexander Kahl and at middleweight Goekalp Oezekler face tba in a matchup for a WBC subtitle.
