In a recent article that appeared on BoxingScene.com, former heavyweight champion David Haye ridiculed Vitali Klitschko, the WBC's champion, for pondering a possible fight with undefeated Manuel Charr in September.
Haye, who returns on July 14th against Dereck Chisora, wanted to fight Vitali in the fall. At the moment, Haye doesn't appear to be an option.
Now it seems like he is fighting someone Ive never heard of called Jimmy Carr, or something," Haye said. Theres a reason for him choosing this opponent because they know Vitali will knock him out, look good and get a nice win before going into politics.
Charr was laughing at Haye's recent statements. He says the British boxer knows him quite well and recently contacted him for the purposes of hiring him as a sparring partner for the upcoming fight with Chisora.
Charr said - "Hey, David Haye. Listen, do you really think Vitali Klitschko has chosen to fight an unknown boxer? Then I do not understand why you called me and asked me to be your sparring partner in preparation for the fight with Derek Chisora. [By the way] David....it was my turn!"
