WBA welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi (32-4, 7KOs) is hearing that Adrien Broner (26-0, 22KOs) is a little hesitant to take the fight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, which is the champion's hometown. Golden Boy Promotions is trying to finalize the fight for June 22 on HBO. Broner, the WBC's lightweight champion, would move up by two weight divisions.

"I am starting to hear rumors that Adrien Broner is a bit scurred to come to fight me in NY. This boxing sh*t ain't always FREE MONEY like you been getting homie. I had to get this title in the ex-champion's house. If you want it - you gotta come try and take it from me in NY," Malignaggi stated on the social networks.
