WBA interim-junior welterweight champion Marcos Maidana (30-2, 27KOs) has started his own promotional company, El Chino Promociones. The new company put together their first show last Friday in Pergamino, Argentina. The card was carried by Fox Sports for Latin America. Maidana says he is back in the gym and training for his next fight, which could come in the month of August.

After putting on back to back fight of the year nominees and selling less than 50k PPVS he was smart to make his own promotional company. Maidana should be one of boxings biggest cash cows but GBP are jokes when it comes to promoting fights.

I heard he is fighting in Argentina next so if that's true i doubt it will be against anyone that great, the fight after that though I'm pretty sure will be against one of the Champions or the winner of the Alexander Matthysse fight.

I'd hope it was Bradley-Maidana. Would be a good one.
