Maccarinelli-McKenzie, Gavin-Witter Revealed By Warren

Promoter Frank Warren has announced two big championship fights for the undercard that features WBO World Light-Heavyweight Champion Nathan Cleverly in the main event. The card takes place on the 27th of October at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena. Cleverly headlines with the third defence of his title against dangerous Ukrainian Vyatcheslav Uzelkov

Warren revealed that Enzo Maccarinelli (35-5, 27KOs) will challenge Commonwealth Light Heavyweight Champion Ovill McKenzie (20-11, 9KOs) for his title; plus unbeaten Birmingham ace Frankie Gavin (13-0, 10KOs) will go for the British Light Welterweight title, taking on current champion Junior Witter (41-5-2, 22KOs).
Traansend: Agreed he may even get a win over Ernie Smith or Delroy Spencer.
Well Ernie Smith is dead so I can't see that fight coming off. Gavin-Witter will be an interesting fight. I'm sure Gavin will beat him…
