Luis Ortiz Officialy Inks With Golden Boy, Back on 11/26

By Ryan Burton

Jay Jimenez, CEO of King Kong Boxing and manager of Luis Ortiz (19-0, 16KOs), has advised BoxingScene.com that his fighter has officially signed with Golden Boy Promotions and will return to the ring on the November 26th Golden Boy Live card that is headlined by Antonio Tarver versus Mike Sheppard.

It had been previously reported that Ortiz signed with Golden Boy over a month ago but the signing became official today.

Ortiz is ranked #2 by the WBA and vows to become a world champion soon.

"It's official. The Real King Kong, heavy weight Luis Ortiz has signed with Golden Boy Promotions.  Cuban American Luis Ortiz said he will bring the heavyweight belt back to the USA.

That is a promise to his unborn little boy, Luis Junior.  His son will be born next week and Luis will be back on the BB&T Center fight card in Sunrise, Florida on November 26th," Jimenez told BoxingScene.com.

That should be good for Ortiz career. He would smash Wilder if they fight!

It'd be hilarious if they brought him on to fight Wilder
