Multiple sources have advised BoxingScene.com that a heavyweight bout between Luis Ortiz (23-0, 20KOs) - who scored a 3rd round stoppage of Matias Vidondo on this past weekend's card at the Madison Square Garden - and Bryant Jennings (19-1, 10KOs) has been consummated for December 19th on a 'Boxing After Dark' card on HBO from the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, New York.

Ortiz-Jennings was previously being pushed for last Saturday's HBO Pay-Per-View undercard for Gennady Golovkin vs. David Lemieux, but the two sides were unable to reach an agreement and the Ortiz instead went with Vidondo.

In beating Vidondo, Ortiz picked up the WBA's interim-heavyweight title.

Jennings was last seen going the distance with a respectable effort against heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko on April 25th.

The word is that former featherweight champion Nicholas Walters will co-headline this card, likely against Jason Sosa.
