Luis Franco Lands On The Sanchez vs Donaire Card

Kissimmee, FL: Unbeaten featherweight prospect Luis “La Estrella” Franco as been added to the show of this Friday, December 9 at the Kissimmee Civic Center in Kissimmee, FL as part of the popular and successful series of “Boxeo TELEMUNDO Ford”.

Franco (10-0-6 KO’s) a former Olympian of Cuba now living in Miami, will put his undefeated record and world rankings on the line when he faces Leopoldo “Feroz” Gonzalez (11-4-1-7 KO’s) of Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico in a bout schedule for 8 rounds.

In the main event, former WBO world champion Alex “El Nene” Sanchez (31-7-1-21 KO’s) of Ponce, Puerto Rico faces former world title challenger Glenn “Boyet” Donaire (17-4-1-9 KO’s) of General Santos City, Philippines in a clash schedule for 12 rounds with the WBC Latin flyweight title at stake.

First bell at 8:30 PM, 6 mores fights round up the card. Telemundo Network available in HD will televise the main event at 11:35 PM EST live in the US and Televisa Deportes Network will televise at 11:00 PM CST in Mexico and Central America.
