A surprise addition to this Saturday's card in Mexico, as Puerto Rican super featherweight prospect Luis Cruz will return to action as part of Zanfer's event at the Multipurpose Center in the city of Hermosillo. In the main event, David "Tornado" Sanchez will take on Nicaragua's Carlos Rueda, and Juan Francisco "El Gallo" Estrada will go against Filipino Ardin Diale. The card will air on Azteca 7.

Cruz (19-1, 15 KOs), 26-years-old, is represented by the promotional company of former world champion Miguel Cotto. This is the first fight for Cruz since losing his undefeated record last November against Juan Carlos Burgos at the MGM in Las Vegas. After ten rounds of close action, Burgos walked away with a majority decision victory.
