The current World Boxing Council (WBC) silver world champion at flyweight (112 pounds), Panamanian Luis 'El Nica' Concepcion (28-3, 21KOs), could make his first defense at the end of July. The information was revealed by his attorney Roger Espiρo. Concepcion has won five wins in a row since the first round TKO defeat to Tyson Marquez of Mexico.

"Nothing is official yet, but we're working on having 'El Nica' Concepcion defend his silver title in late July," said Espiρo.

I've seen him 2x & he's quite good, but has virtually no defense...I hope he does well, he's the best chance Panama has 4 a title...hopefully he stay @ 112 & not go 2 115 vs Carlos Cuadras who is far better...
