| Lucian Bute: I'm Ready To Fight Kessler Anywhere

By Edward Chaykovsky IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (28-0, 23KOs) is ready to leave Canada for a big fall showdown with former champion Mikkel Kessler. The Danish boxer was present as Bute knocked out Brian Magee in ten rounds at the Bell Centre in Montreal. "I am ready to go anywhere, whether it's in New York, Las Vegas, Romania," Bute said. "If he dares to fight me, I'll face Mikkel Kessler." Kessler, who left the Super Six tournament in 2010 after suffering an right eye injury, will take an interim-fight to shake off the rust. Then he wants Bute in the fall. "Lucian is a great champion and Kessler is also a great boxer. I think it's going to make for a great fight," said Magee, who Bute dropped three times before the referee stopped the contest in the tenth. Romania would be way cool, but there's more money to be made in Canada or Denmark for sure. |

and when he says hes ready...howso all he has been fighting lately are smaller low level opponents for god sakes. Kessler is still a good fighter and wouldnt be suprised if ... |

Honestly, I would like to see Bute get in the lion's den in Denmark and knock Kessler out in front of his fans, just like Magee did to Larsen. That would be great, and that would shut up a lot of haters.
