Lucas Matthysse Knocks Mike Dallas Out Cold in One

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas - Lucas Matthysse (33-2, 31KOs) crushed Mike Dallas Jr. (19-3-1, 8KOs) with a vicious first round knockout to retain the WBC interim-junior welterweight title. Dallas came out a little wild and was throwing punches that were missing their mark. Matthysse was patient and caught Dallas with a perfect combination of punches to knock him out cold. A right hand caused most of the damage and a follow-up of shots put Dallas, who was already on his way down, fully out. The referee quickly waved off the contest and the ringside physicians rushed the ring.

as predicted, the absurd hype around the methodical Mythysse (< no typo) reached new levels of ridiculousness after he despatched this kid.

Matthysse said Dallas throw that left jab twice so he throw that right hand with perfect timing. Good win for Matthysse props to him and his team.
