Heavyweight contender Lucas Browne (19-0, 17KOs), who went five for five in 2013, is frustrated with a lack of activity in 2014. The 34-year-old boxer, who last year defeated James Toney, Richard Towers and Travis Walker, is hoping return on a date in April in the UK. Browne recently took to the social networks to vent his frustration at promoter Ricky Hatton regarding his inactivity and even asked fans for advice on breaking his promotional contract.

"I suppose it was a hissy fit on my part but I felt I was getting messed around. I've just moved back to Sydney, I'm running out of money and I'm still waiting for someone to come up with something."

"That fight with [Solomon Haumono in Melbourne on April 3] is now off. They couldn't agree a deal. Since I went on Twitter I've now been told I could now be fighting for the [commonwealth] title in the UK in April. But it's not clear."
