Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas - Two-time Olympic gold medal winner Vasyl Lomachenko (1-0, 1KO) made his pro debut with a fourth round knockout of featherweight Jose Ramirez (24-3, 15KOs) . In the first round Lomachenko landed a hard shot to the stomach that nearly put Ramirez down for the count. Ramirez barely made it up, but he was able to last for the remainder of the round without much trouble. Lomachenko's speed, quick reflexes and combination punching was making Ramirez very frustrated in the contest. During the fourth, Lomachenko landed another monster shot to the body that put Ramirez down, and this time he couldn't make it up. Ramirez had never been stopped in his prior fights.

I don't get what people are moaning about earlier in this thread? Lomachenko wanted a title shot in his *first* fight but boxing rules say you need to be ranked to get a shot. This is the whole point of his promotion. This guy has a very special amateur record, he's lost 1 fight in 396! which is ...

2 racostaa: Hey, man! Where are u? What do you say about pro debut of Hi-Tech? By the way, remember! "[U]We mistakenly mix all together. Say Gennady Golovkin has Russian blood, but he was not Russian, he is Kazakh. Vassily Jirov also Kazakh. And Lomachenko - Ukrainian, and if you call him Russia...
