Live Round by Round Coverage; Roy Jones Jr. vs. Antonio Tarver 3

Round 1 - Tarver is laying back and Jones is trying to stay in the center of the ring. Both men missing some jabs. Tarver is giving Jones a lot of respect, he is not jumping on him. Jones is feinting, but not throwing anything. Bodyshot by Tarver, Jones jumps forward to land three punches, one of them to the body. Very slow start by both men. Jones with a bodyshot. Round ends and Jones says I'm Back. Tarver won the round because Jones barely threw anything. Tarver barely threw himself, but did more.
 
Round 2 - Jones is just basically moving away and barely throwing anything. Tarver gets him on the ropes and starts landing shots on Jones. Jones' legs do not look that great. Jones misses a right hand. Another round for Tarver.
 
Round 3 - Tarver feinting with the jab. Tarver jabbing to Roy's chest. Jab by Jones and a bodyshot. Tarver gets him in the ropes and scores once again. Right by Tarver and now a left. Another round for Tarver. Jones can't seem to get a steady rhythm going with his punches.
 
Round 4 - HBO has it 3-0 for Tarver. Right by Jones and two lefts. Jones circling away. Tarver misses two lefts. Jones with a right and now a right to Tarver's body and another. Tarver trying to get in his left, Jones with a right. Bodyshot for Jones. Jones wins his first round.
 
Round 5 - Jones wins the last round on HBO's card. Jones with a combo and another. Jones is now mocking Tarver and landing big shots to the body and head of Tarver. This is vintage Jones right now. Tarver gets Jones in the ropes and Jones fights his way off the ropes by landing shots to the head and body of Tarver and is laughing at Tarver. Tarver gets Jones in the ropes and Jones is landing big uppercuts and bodyshots to push Tarver back. Huge round for Roy Jones.
 
Round 6 - Tarver gets Joens against the ropes and is landing shots. Jones is mocking Tarver and lands an uppercut and now starts fighting with Tarver. Tarver jabbing and lands a left. Tarver using combos on Jones at close range. Right for Jones. Left for Tarver. Jones sticking out his chin and mocking Tarver. Tarver with a jab. Tarver gets another round, but it was close.
 
Round 7 - Jones feinting and landing some shots to the body. Tarver jabbing and misses a left hand. Tarver gets Jones against the ropes and starts scoring with some punches. Tarver misses a combo. Tarver gets Jones into the ropes and scores a few punches. Tarver with another round.
 
Round 8 - Jones is not doing much in this round. The crowd is booing as Tarver landing punches against the ropes and pumping the jab. Another round for Tarver.
 
Round 9 - Jones just moving away from Tarver. Tarver with two left hands. Tarver just jabbing Jones. Jones with a right hand down the middle. Tarver backing him up with the jab. Jones barely throwing anything. Another round for Tarver.
 
Round 10 - Tarver pushing Jones back with some punches. Tarver with two combinations. Jones with two to the body and Tarver blocks a Jones right. Tarver gets Roy into the ropes and landing punches to the head and body. Jones to the body. Jones gets Tarver into the ropes and lands some big shots to the head and body. Tarver lands a bomb on Jones.
 
Round 11 - Tarver is out working Jones, but he appears to be tired. Jones is badly rocked by a right hand. Jones is hurt and falling all over the ropes. Tarver going for the KO, landing big bombs on Jones. Now Tarver looks punched out and Jones is now landing punches to the head and body of Tarver. Tarver looks dead tired as the round ends. Round for Tarver
 
Round 12 - Jones to the body. Jones with two punches on Tarver. Jones to the body. Tarver gets Jones against the ropes and starts landing, Jones ties him up and landing bodyshots. Jones lands to the body. Jones won the round, but Tarver clearly won the fight.
