Les Sherrington and Jack Asis Make The Weight Easy

WBF World middleweight and WBO Asia Pacific champion Les “Lock N Load” Sherrington has made weight along with his opponent Esteban Ponce ahead of their highly anticipated 10 round middleweight clash as the main event on the “There’s no Easy way out” card tonight at the Townsville RSL stadium.

Both fighters looked fit and confident as they came in under the middleweight limit, with Sherrington weighing 72.3kg and Esteban Ponce 71.6kg.


 
Also making weight were super featherweights Jack “The Assassin” Asis and Revo Rengkung. Asis came in spot on the limit of 58.9kg while Rengkung weighed 57.2kg. Again both fighters of the co main event looked in superb condition ahead of their highly anticipated bout.

All other boxers on the night successfully made weight ahead of their fights on the card. These bouts include Ryan Heck vs Sam Leone (super welterweight), Jamie McIntyre vs Farris Chevalier (super middleweight), Travis Barton vs Ian Bone (super middleweight) and Jaime Allison vs Barry Prior (heavyweight).

These fights plus more great fights are part of the “There’s No easy way out” fight card which will take place tonight at the Townsville RSL stadium. Tickets are $35 for general and $55 for ringside and are available at www.ticketshop.com.au or the civic theatre on 47 279 797.
