Dutch great Leen Jansen has passed away at the age of 83. Jansen participated at middleweight in the 1952 Olympics but lost to future gold medal winner Floyd Patterson. Jansen turned pro later that year and won the national title at middleweight and light heavyweight, compiling a 60-10-1 record fighting throughout the 50īs and early 60īs. Leen also challenged for the Dutch heavyweight title but lost to Wim Snoek.
