On November 10th a final WBC junior middleweight eliminator between Vanes Martirosyan and Erislandy Lara will take place at the Wynn Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The fight will be televised by HBO.  The winner will become Saul "Canelo" Alvarez's mandatory challenger.

Last week in an exclusive interview with BoxingScene, WBC president Jose Sulaiman said that Alvarez's first fight in 2013 must be against the Lara-Martirosyan winner.

Earlier today on BoxingScene, Lara's trainer Ronnie Shields told David Greisman that Martirosyan (whom he previously trained) has not improved much and that Lara will outclass him.

Martirosyan didn't say a lot back in response. However, he did state that on fight night he will reveal to the world the blueprint on how to beat Lara.

I spoke to Lara to get to get his take on the recent banter and he responded with a short answer that was straight to the point.

"The talking is over.  Now it's time to fight. Real men fight and don't talk. On November 10th we will see who's a real man," Lara told BoxingScene.com.

Both fighters have been relatively quiet as they are training for what will be the biggest fight of their respective careers.
