Kubrat Pulev: We Are in Talks To Fight David Haye

By BoxingBet.pl

Heavyweight European champion Kubrat Pulev (17-0, 9 KOs) has confirmed to Sporta that his promoters have been negotiating with the team of former two-division champion David Haye (26-2, 24 KOs), who’s going to return to the ring on June 29th at MEN Arena in Manchester, England.

“I’ll be back likely in June. Yes, it means, that we have been in talks with David Haye for the June 29th fight. He is a strong opponent, but what should I do? Fight medicore guys? If I want to develop, I have to face strong opponents, such as David. Haye is a good, very good fighter, but I don’t think he’s better than me. I don’t care where the fight takes place,” Pulev said.

According to Haye’s trainer and manager Adam Booth, the next opponent’s name should be officially announced in mid-April.

Pulev is probably the guy I'd most want Haye to fight next, aside from Povetkin who's fat ass I just want to see lose because he's ultimate crap.
I'm not sure it's such a high risk. At least, I assume both Booth and Haye would be confident in beating Pulev, which is why they must have made contact. The manager of Pulev said on WBN yesterday, that they…
Haye fighting Manuel Charr would disappoint me. But all of Vitali's fans who defended Charr as a legit opponent can't say anything negative about that choice if it happens.
I think everbody agreed Charr was garbage in the wake of…
