Sergey Kovalev continued Sunday night to question Andre Ward’s win against him last month.

The former light heavyweight champion posted on Twitter that “Son of judges” was surprised of design! It’s very funny.

Kovalev, who seemingly meant to type decision (not design), added three emojis to symbolize laughter after the Tweet, as well as a link to the video of Ward’s facial reaction in the ring when HBO Sports’ Michael Buffer announced him as the winner of their November 19 fight at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Kovalev referred to Ward as “Son of judges” to mock Ward’s nickname, “Son of God.”

The 32-year-old Ward won a unanimous decision, 114-113 on all three scorecards, to capture Kovalev’s IBF, WBA and WBO 175-pound championships. The decision caused controversy because the 33-year-old Kovalev dropped Ward in the second round and controlled the first half of their 12-round fight. Ward took command during the second half, though, and made their HBO Pay-Per-View main event very competitive.

There is an immediate rematch clause in the contract, but a second bout between the undefeated Ward (31-0, 15 KOs), of Hayward, California, and Russia’s Kovalev (30-1-1, 26 KOs) has not yet been scheduled.
