“I’m very excited to add this compelling middleweight clash to our ROSEMONT RUMBLE: “GOING FOR 20-0” event on Friday, September 15 at “The Dome at the Ballpark.” said Bobby Hitz of Hitz Boxing. “It’s an excellent matchup for fans with two fighters who are known for the action they bring to battle as they heat up the ring prior to the main event.”

Continued Frank Mugnolo of Round 3 Productions, ‘It’s a full evening of sports entertainment for Chicago boxing fans. Along with this terrific co-main event, we’ll have additional bouts featuring great local prospects to announce shortly.”

Riding a four bout winning streak, Kopylenko will be fighting for the second time in the Chicagoland area. On February 28, 2014, the former amateur standout stopped Cerresso Fort in the second round on opening night of the acclaimed 2014 Boxcino Middleweight Tournament in Hammond, Illinois.

In his next bout of the ESPN televised tournament on April 18, 2014, Kopylenko lost a hard fought unanimous decision to the eventual tournament champion and former middleweight world title challenger Willie Monroe Jr.

The upset minded Scott looks to return to the win column after a controversial six round majority decision loss to Morgan Fitch on November 18, 2016 in Indio, California.

‘The Dome at the Ballpark’ is located at 27 Jennie Finch Way, Rosemont, IL 60018 -- on Bryn Mawr Avenue, one mile west of River Road in Rosemont. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. CT with the first bell at 7:00 p.m. CT. Free parking is available onsite.

Additional information on the undercard will be announced shortly.

Who and who? How and why is this on TV? Kopylenko looks like one of those guys with a padded record that will be fed to someone for a pay day because of his "excellent" record.
