The manager of WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49KOs) has stated that a deal to stage a unification with WBA champion David Haye (25-1, 23KOs) is "99% done." The two sides are trying to finalize a date and a venue. Manager Bernd Boente told reporter Tomas Dierenga that June 25 and July 2 are two possible dates. The fight is going to Germany, as expected.
"The fight is 99% done. We have two dates, June 25 and July 2. The fight will take place in a German stadium in Schalke or Dortmund," Boente said.
