Bernd Boente, manager of the Klitschko brothers, has obtained a temporary court order in Germany, which prevents WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck from making "false allegations" against him. In a recent video, Huck alleged that Boente played a role in British boxer Dereck Chisora's behavior a the February 17th weigh-in for the bout with WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko. At that weigh-in, Chisora slapped Vitali across the face - which Huck believes was a partially staged event.
"I believe that Chisora slapped Vitali at the instigation of Bernd Boente, Klitschko's manager. Boente staged the incident in order to increase the television [viewers]. I do not think Vitali knew about it, but Bente knew everything," Huck said.
Boente responded to the allegations to Abendblatt.
"This is absurd. Huck crossed the line. And we can not allow him to continue making such statements."
