The "Russian Giant" Nikolai Valuev (50-2, 34 KOs) said his recent face to face meeting with WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (40-2, 38 KOs) went well. The fighters met a few days ago in St. Petersburg, Russia to discuss a potential fight for the month of October in Germany.
Aspreviously reported on BoxingScene.com, Klitschko presented a final offer of $1.5 million dollars. Valuev is considering the offer and says the month of October is perfect.
"I recently met Vitali in St. Petersburg and he made an explicit proposal to fight in Germany in October, which suits me fine," Valuev told Moscow's Ria Novosti. "For me October would be a perfect time for the fight, but I do not want to make plans yet."
