It’s hard to find a more competitive type of parliament than the Ukrainian Verkhovnaya Rada when it comes to fighting in the very true sense of this word. Another proof was found recently as Oleg Lyashko, a flamboyant local deputy and a leader of the local Radical Party, was wobbled badly by a smashing right hand of fellow deputy Olexander Shevchenko in front of local media after yelling “Go to Donbass!” several times and adding some profanity to support his words.
The video of the accident can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ug_DN_4hSrc
There’s no bigger expert in fighting all over Ukraine than former WBC heavyweight champion and a major of Kiev Vitali Klitschko, who commented over the accident.
“That was a clear knockdown, definitely”, stated Klitschko even though Lyashko managed to retain his upright stance. “However, I do reject such arguments. There’s no place for boxing in politics. For all those 26 years, which I was involved into the sport of boxing, I have never ever used my skills outside of the boxing ring”, added Vitaliy after that.
He added that politicians shouldn’t use physical power in discussions.
